FAQ - The Collapse of Special Relativity

Q: Einstein and Relativity? That's too difficult for me. How can I read this book?

A: The book is written with the general reader in mind. It has many illustrations which describe the meaning of Relativity. Most of the mathematics used in the book is simple and anyone with a high school education should be able to understand it.

Q: Einstein is the greatest scientist of the 20th century. He is a Nobel Prize winner. How can I believe that this book will invalidate his ideas?

A: Einstein won a Nobel Prize for the Photoelectric Effect. He did not receive one for General Relativity nor did he receive one for Special Relativity. His "theories" even today are called "theories" not LAWS as they should be if the scientific establishment believed them to be correct.

Q: How can it be true that Einstein is wrong about E=mc2?

A: For centuries scientists all over the world believed that the geocentric theory of Ptolemy was correct. In other words, they believed that the earth was the center of the universe and all the planets as well as the sun and stars moved about the earth. Additionally, there existed plenty of observations to prove them right or so they thought. They were all wrong of course since the earth, planets and asteroids move about the sun as we now know. Similarly, everyone today believes that E=mc2 is a valid scientific law. The book will show you how wrong they are about E=mc2!

Q: Is the book just a complicated mathematical disproof of E=mc2?

A: No. Quite the contrary. The book describes the history of Special Relativity in its original assumptions, documents and ideas which led to the acceptance of the theory. It is written in an easy to read format. Although some mathematics is involved only high school level math is used. Also, a quote from the original 1905 Einstein document "On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies" shows he doesn't believe his theory! Further, E=mc2 is the end result of Special Relativity not the central focus. Likewise, the book leads the reader in understanding the errors in theory, analysis and experimentation which produced Length Contraction, Time Dilation, the Twin Paradox, (etc...) and the end result, E=mc2.

Q: Who is Michael Strauss?

A: Good question. Mr. Strauss is a computer engineer who having worked in the legal aspects of information technology, harbored an interest in Physics from his early classes in the subject matter. He will show you in no uncertain terms what happened that led to the acceptance of Special Relativity and E=mc2 and why they are both in error.

Q: What are the dimensions of the book its length and its printing format?

A: The book is 6 x 9 x 1/2 inches with 188 pages in softcover.
